Neal and I are spending the weekend up at the Greenhill's cabin in Blue Ridge. I am seriously in heaven and I have yet to tell them that I don't think I'll be leaving....
Today we got in about a 3 hour run/hike on the Benton MacKaye trail along with a short ride on the Green Mountain Trail to get our legs warmed up for when Kim comes up tomorrow and we do a longer ride. Hopefully she comes tired, because as Neal would say, we're a bit "knackered".

I'm 31 years old and addicted to mountain biking, sweet tea, and Thai food. I work as a civil engineer to support my addiction. I like campfires, 5 mile climbs on my singlespeed, and long walks in the woods. I'm a woman and I can actually read a map. 8 hours a day on my bike for 7 days straight sounds like a darn fine vacation to me. For some reason I'm exceptionally good at carrying my bike around. I'm married with a new baby girl and three spoiled cats. My husband can be credited with starting my mountain bike addiction and he is a great enabler, as he keeps me rolling.
